Classic travertine is a material with neutral coloring and unique characteristics. Its distinct porosity brings out the uniqueness of natural stone, recalling the classical and baroque architecture of Rome. It can be grouted with cement, putty and or clear resin and later brushed, sanded or polished. Therefore, this type of travertine is a chameleon-like material, both classic and modern, which is suitable for both interior and exterior cladding work.
If we opt for a cut orthogonal to the pitch of classical travertine, the slightly darker veins clearly emerge, emphasizing the cohesion and uniformity of the structure, despite its porosity.
